NDTTRAINING & CERTIFICATION COURSE EDDY CURRENT TESTING – LEVEL-II
To provide a basic knowledge ofEDDY CURRENT TESTING to enable a participant to carryout tests according to an established procedure under the supervision of a level II. The course is especially designed to provide a sound theoretical knowledge and practical skill forEddy Current Testing required for a Level II technician.
A CertifiedECT Level II personnel are qualified:
- As per SNT-TC 1A 2011 Edition and ISO 9712 is the Recommended Practice for NDT Level II Personnel.
- Capable of Detecting Surface and Sub-surface defects.
- Have knowledge of the scope and limitations of Eddy Current Testing.
- Capable of understanding the concept of Electromagnetic Induction.
- Prepare test report for i. Accept ii. Reject iii. Rework.
- Responsible for care and maintenance of the NDT/Eddy Current Testing equipment

- Ability to Immediately Furnish Location & Size of the Flaws with Pinpoint Accuracy
ECT Level-II Practical Training:
- Machine Familiarization.
- Probe Identification and uses.
- Implementing Testing Techniques.
- Doing Calibration.
- Reproducing Data collected from Inspection.
